We design and manufacture in our own workshop, in Sicily. Every line has its own standard sizes: beyond those, we build to the opening as measured on site.
Engraved doors: five cities, five ways to engrave a door leaf
Thirty-eight models in five collections. What changes from one to the next is the depth of the engraving, from two to six millimetres: it decides how much shadow appears when the light arrives at a grazing angle. Choose a city on the map.

We do not sell interior doors: we make them
FIP Porte has designed and manufactured interior doors in Capo d'Orlando, in the province of Messina, since 1969. The workshop is ours: the door you order comes from there, not from somebody else’s catalogue.

Technical doors: when the project asks for a performance
Alongside doors for the home we make the technical line: REI fire doors, X-ray shielded doors, HPL for healthcare buildings, multipurpose doors, Kubi doors and partitions.
These are the doors chosen for a requirement, not for a taste: the project asks for a performance, and the door has to deliver it.

What does the door have to do?
REI fire doors
Fire doors go up to REI 120. They can also be soundproofed, up to 38 dB of sound reduction: for the combination of fire resistance and acoustics we send the test report on request.
Soundproofed doors reach up to 47 dB. There are tredici rapporti di prova acustici available to download, from 28 to 47 dB, and the frame makes the difference: with aluminium you stop at 36 dB, with timber you reach 47.
X-ray shielded doors are lead-lined: the lead sheet is inside the leaf and inside the frame. The data sheet can be downloaded from the technical area, with the declared thickness.
Hospitals, schools and offices need non-porous surfaces that can be washed and take knocks: this is the field of HPL, multipurpose doors and Kubi partitions, where the door and the wall are the same system.

GuestKey is the smart door system we developed for hotel, i B&B e le strutture ricettive: the lock opens from a phone or from a code, and access is managed by software instead of a bunch of keys. The door is still ours; what changes is the way it opens.
The timber we use can be traced back. The FSC® C206541 chain of custody, certified by CSQA, states that our panels come from responsibly managed forests or from recycled material — and it is a document you can download, not a claim.
