From 1969 to today, step by step
The first laboratory
FIP was founded in 1969 thanks to the vision of Antonino Conforto, who knew how to seize the opportunities of the Italian building boom. Since its early years, the company has specialized in industrial production of interior doors, combining craftsmanship and production capacity: two things that usually go in opposite directions and that here have learned to coexist. Since then, the passion for Italian design and the attention to quality have never stopped guiding us.
A family, three generations
With the arrival of their children and, later, their grandchildren, FIP embarked on a journey of strategic and technological renewal. Driven by the seconda e della terza generazione the company has expanded its product range and consolidated its market position nationally, without changing its way of working by even an inch: production remains in Capo d'Orlando, and every door continues to be custom-made.
The company goes online
FIP Enters the World of e-commerce. It is the transition that takes artisanal production beyond the boundaries of local word-of-mouth, placing it before a customer who could be anywhere in Italy.
Porteitaliane is born
The Porte Italiane project is born, a proprietary online brand that has allowed us to bring our quality throughout Italy.
Among the Stelle del Sud
FIP enters the Stelle del Sud ranking by Il Sole 24 Ore, created in collaboration with Statista, which selects the 200 companies in Southern Italy with the best growth performance. There are three criteria, all based on numbers, not opinions: increase in revenue, growth in the number of employees, and investments in tangible and intangible fixed assets. In the 2020–2023 period, FIP ranks at 156th place.
Confirmed among the two hundred
The confirmation in the next edition, for the three-year period 2021-2024. Remaining in a ranking built on growth means only one thing: that growth has continued.
A complete range, all custom-made
Today, FIP offers a complete range of doors, ranging from the classic wooden doors, glass doors, REI-certified doors for hotels, to made-to-measure wardrobes, security doors and the new flush-to-wall line. Every product stems from a balanced mix between Italian design, artisanal care and cutting-edge technologies.
